Use case

Font pairings for dashboards and SaaS

Dashboards are read in glances: big numbers, small labels, dense tables. The pairing should make figures easy to compare and stay calm when every pixel is in use. The examples above show the current pairing on dashboards; press Space for another, or pick one below.

Figures that line up

Use a body font with tabular numerals so columns of numbers align and changing values don't jitter.

Quiet headings

Dashboards repeat headings on every card. A restrained heading face keeps the data in front.

Density without strain

Fonts with a tall x-height stay readable at 12–13px in tables; check them with real labels, not lorem ipsum.

Questions

What font is best for data and numbers?
Look for tabular figures and clear distinctions between 1, l and I, and between 0 and O. Many grotesque and humanist sans fonts qualify; a monospace font is useful for IDs and code.
Can a dashboard use one font family?
Yes. A single family with several weights is common in product interfaces; use weight and size, not a second family, for hierarchy.
